Community Involvement
Habitat for Humanity

Habitat for Humanity seeks to eliminate homelessness and poverty by providing safe, decent, and affordable housing. Through volunteer donations of materials, money, and labor, Habitat for Humanity has been able to build over 250,000 houses around the world in more than 3,000 communities. Concord has donated both labor and funding by sponsoring three houses in the past three years. Habitat for Humanity allows for us to continue our mission of “Building Foundations of Trust” and support local organizations that help build our communities.
Catch-A-Smile
Catch-A-Smile was organized to take underprivileged children to Butcher Jones, where they have the opportunity to go fishing and hiking for the day. This community event has a history of bringing joy and excitement to underprivileged children, many who have never caught a fish. As a sponsor of the 4th annual event, Concord employees volunteer their day to lead the fishing and hiking for over 30 children from surrounding areas.
Chandler United Methodist Church Dedication

Concord believes in developing positive relationships in building and keeps in communication with owners long after the completion of their project. As a leader in religious building, Concord recently completed Chandler United Methodist Church. The congregation, along with the Concord team members who completed the building, dedicated the church on March 16th. The 11,800 square foot church consists of a worship area, classrooms, gift shop, office space, and a kitchen.
PASS (Partners Advancing Student Success)
Most students will spend more than a third of their lives in a diverse and constantly changing workplace. In today’s ever-changing environment students must demonstrate proficiency both in academics and workplace standards such as oral, written, and listening skills, critical and creative thinking, and technological literacy. Each summer, the PASS Program brings educators from across the Valley together for one week to visit several companies, in many industries, to learn about the multiple workplace skills needed in today’s workplace. Concord has been a participant in the PASS Program for several years, taking educators to a job site to learn about the process of building and the skills needed to perform the job.
Arizona Builders Alliance Volunteers Day
Each year Concord employees participate in a hands-on renovation of a care facility chosen by the ABA Board. This project includes a full day of painting, landscaping, electrical, HVAC, carpentry, and general building upgrades to convert neglected facilities into ones that the occupants can really feel at home in.
University of Arizona, College of Architecture
Each year Concord sponsors a scholarship/cash award given to an outstanding architecture or landscape architecture student. Interested students submit a portfolio of their design work which is judged by a jury of architects and contractors who award the scholarship to the student with the best portfolio.
