Davidson Elementary School

Davidson Elementary School

With the environment and energy efficiency moving to the forefront of priorities in architecture and construction, Concord is committed to building structures that are good for the environment. We recently completed Davidson Elementary School, which consisted of new construction of a 38,000 s.f. LEED® Certified elementary school for Tucson Unified School District. The project scope included new classrooms, administrative offices and entry, multipurpose room, library resource center, play fields, extensive sitework, and parking.


Gold Medal Building of America Award
Bioscience High School

Bioscience High School

Bioscience was selected by the Real Estate and Construction Review for the Gold Medal Building of America Award in Arizona to honor the regions most innovative, unique, and challenging projects. This state-of-the-art facility was designed with an exposed and open space learning environment in mind. The new 52,000 s.f. facility provides students with math and science coursework that is normally found at advanced research universities. Located in the biomedical complex in downtown Phoenix, Bioscience is the first of its kind in the United States, offering students the biomedical experience at the high school level.


Southwest Contractor “Best of 2007” Award
Southwest Ambulance Corporate Headquarters and Training Complex

Southwest Ambulance

Chosen as the best industrial project in 2007, Concord built a new 13-acre campus that included an administration building, fleet building, support facility, and operations dispatch center. This site is also completely secure, with masonry walls, iron fences, auto gates, and security cameras throughout.

 

 


Southwest Contractor “Best of 2006” Award
Fox Theatre

Fox Theatre Tucson

Concord was awarded the “Best of 2006” award for our complete historic rehabilitation and renovation of a 1929 theatre in the heart of downtown Tucson. This project required remanufacturing of acoustical, retrofitting roofing structure, upgrading 1920’s air handling system, reconstruction of historical painting designs, and renovation of various building components to modern standards.

 


Southwest Contractor “Best of 2005” Award
James A. Walsh Courthouse

James M. Walsh Courthouse

Chosen for the best renovation/restoration project in 2005, this project consisted of a complete interior renovation which included courtrooms, jury assembly areas, judges’ chambers, restrooms, offices, and mechanical rooms. We also renovated the U.S. Marshals offices, attorney offices, and conference rooms. Additionally, new mechanical upgrades were incorporated throughout the entire facility and security fencing was added.
