Bioscience High School, built by Concord in 2007, was recognized by the 2008 Phoenix Business Journal Book of Lists as the 15th largest construction project in Copper Square in downtown Phoenix. Bioscience, a high school dedicated to the field of math and science, is the first of its kind in the United States, offering a college level learning experience at the high school level. The Book of Lists provides readers with a report on top Arizona businesses in more than 255 industry categories and market segments.

Concord General Contracting was named the #4 Contractor with staff of 46-119 for 2008. Each year Ranking Arizona turns to their readers and residents of Arizona to rank The Best of Arizona Business. Participants vote and base their opinions on the quality of products, services, and their people. In 2007 Concord was recognized as the #6 General Contractor in Arizona with 46-119 staff.


Phoenix Concord Superintendents and Project Managers OSHA 30-Hour Certified

In our continual efforts to increase job safety awareness, Concord’s Phoenix Project Managers and Superintendents were OSHA 30-Hour Certified. Designed to help recognize safety and health hazards on the construction site, Concord is one of the few contractors that offers owners with the commitment to safety by certifying each of their Project Managers and Superintendents.


Bioscience High School highlighted by Southwest Contractor Magazine

Bioscience High School was recently highlighted by Southwest Contractor Magazine as a school that demonstrates the ever-changing strategy and technology in school construction. This $11.2 million structure was built to reinvent the way students at the high school level learn about math and science.
