Green Building
The environment and energy efficiency has moved to the forefront of priorities within the architecture and construction industry. Concord is committed to always looking for ways to incorporate Green Building techniques, whether the owner desires to achieve a LEED® (Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design) level certification or is simply environmentally conscious. Green Building is good for the environment and will help ensure people continue to have a healthy environment in which to work, interact, and share fellowship with one another. A perfect place to start is in the new construction and renovation of buildings.
As a member of the USGBC (U.S. Green Building Council), in addition to our several LEED® Accredited Professionals on staff, we will work with you to achieve a LEED® level certification or simply incorporate elements into your project.

Davidson Elementary School, LEED® Certified
Davidson Elementary School consisted of new construction of a 38,000 s.f. LEED® Certified elementary school for Tucson Unified School District. The project scope included new classrooms, administrative offices and entry, multipurpose room, library resource center, play fields, extensive sitework, and parking. This project was the first LEED® Certified and CM@Risk Project for TUSD. A few of the largest LEED® items included the use of photovoltaic panels, reclaimed water for irrigation, light pollution reduction, and using rapidly renewable materials which reduces depletion of long cycle renewable materials.
Incorporating LEED® elements
We will incorporate LEED® elements into a facility in order to cut costs for the owner and stay environmentally conscious even if the building will not be LEED® certified. Below is a select list of owners that we have incorporated LEED® elements into their facilities.
